Servo Sheet Metal Feeder for a Press

We manufacture custom roller servo feeders for the automated feeding of sheet metal into a press for serial cutting and stamping. We adapt the solution to the specific strip or sheet metal, tooling and press operating cycle.

The feeding device receives the material from a decoiler, straightener or other upstream device. The inlet guides and rollers straighten the strip, while the drive rollers reliably grip it with controlled pressure. The servo drive then advances the sheet metal by a programmed feed pitch or, if the press tooling allows, feeds it with constant torque.

We adapt the feeder to your technical requirements according to:

• sheet metal strip width
• sheet metal strip thickness
• required feeding accuracy
• desired speed

The feeder can be connected to the press, decoiler or other equipment in the production line via input and output signals. This enables synchronized operation, signal exchange, fault reporting and the connection of safety functions.
