Hydraulic Power Unit for Compression in Vacuum
A dedicated hydraulic power unit for processes requiring a precisely defined compression force to be maintained during operation in vacuum and at elevated temperatures.
We adapt the system to the requirements of the technological process, the number and size of hydraulic cylinders, the required force, temperature, duration of individual phases, and control method. The design can enable operation with a return oil temperature of up to 120 °C.
If your process requires continuous monitoring of material settling, the hydraulic power unit can be upgraded with a measuring probe designed for reliable operation at temperatures above 100 °C.
Precise Force Maintenance
The hydraulic power unit monitors the pressure and calculated force in the individual hydraulic branches. The set force is maintained even during longer temperature cycles and when the dimensions of the workpiece change due to heating, cooling, or material shrinkage. This ensures the stability of the compressed material and the lowest possible moisture content in the material.
Energy-efficient operation:
- lower electricity consumption
- shorter operating time of the electric motor and pump
- less heating of the hydraulic system
- reduced wear of drive components
- stable maintenance of the set force
Hydraulic Hoses and Sealing for Elevated Temperatures
We also take care of the selection and manufacture of hydraulic hose connections suitable for the intended pressure, oil temperature, and operating conditions. Depending on the requirements, we determine the appropriate design of the hoses, fittings, and protection against temperature-related effects.
We pay special attention to the correct selection of sealing materials for hydraulic cylinders, fittings, and other components. Seals are selected according to the temperature, working pressure, hydraulic fluid used, and vacuum conditions. The appropriate choice of materials reduces the risk of leakage, hardening, or seal damage and contributes to reliable system operation throughout the entire temperature cycle.
