Machine retrofitting and refurbishment
In addition to specializing in aluminum die casting, at INES d.o.o. we also carry out modernizations, refurbishments and repairs of industrial machines and equipment. We extend the service life of existing machines by replacing worn or critical components, updating control systems, and improving mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies. At the customer’s request, we can also add additional functions that make the machine faster and easier for the user to operate.
With expertise in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, automation and in-house manufacturing, we can deliver a comprehensive solution – from analyzing the existing condition and planning the necessary changes to manufacturing components, assembly, programming and final machine testing.
We do not carry out refurbishments on a serial basis – we complete only a few each year. We focus primarily on special, demanding and industrially important projects where the breadth of our knowledge and technologies enables us to create the greatest added value. We are particularly interested in cases where standard solutions are not sufficient and an individual approach is required. Customers who have difficulty finding a suitable solution elsewhere are always welcome here – challenging technical projects are precisely where we can demonstrate our strengths the most.
Refurbishment and retrofitting of a winding machine
By modernizing the control system, drives, sensors and safety elements, we extended the service life of the existing machine and added the functionality of a modern automated machine – including a user HMI panel, recipe management, process monitoring and fault diagnostics.
We also added the option to set the winding sequence using a QR code, allowing the operator to quickly retrieve the appropriate parameters for the selected winding.
Particular emphasis was placed on automation and improving machine operation. The new control panel enables monitoring of speed and position, control of the winding process, parameter setting, use of recipes, and an overview of active and past faults. This simplified operation, reduced setup times and accelerated winding production.
Automatic storage rack
For the automatic storage rack with an integrated scale, we carried out a comprehensive modernization of the control system. We retained the existing mechanical structure, drive systems and other functional assemblies, while replacing the outdated controls with a new, modern solution.
The new controls enabled more reliable operation, better monitoring of system performance, and easier maintenance and servicing. The modernization was carried out to maximize the use of the existing equipment and extend the machine’s service life without the need to replace the entire system.
