02 History
Since its inception prior to 1990 when, under the leadership of founder Vinko Jurčič, the company manufactured timber-cutting saw lines INES d.o.o. has undergone a long journey of development and adaptation. From humble beginnings in machining and servicing, we gradually developed an extensive hydraulics product range, expanded our manufacturing processes, and relocated to our current site in Škofja Loka. Today, after more than 35 years, we operate as a family-owned business with a workforce of over 40, combining tradition, extensive experience, and innovation. We remain committed to the values that have guided us since our founding and continue to build long-term, reliable partnerships with our customers.
1985 –Establishment of the company INES d.o.o.
The company was founded by Vinko Jurčič with a vision of innovative manufacturing. Initially, the company focused on the production of sawmill lines for timber cutting, marking its first step into the world of industrial manufacturing.
1990-1992 –Restructuring and market adaptation
Due to the breakup of the former state and the loss of its existing market, the company quickly adapted its operations. It shifted to machining and service activities, thereby laying the foundation for further growth and the expansion of its service offering.
1992 –Expansion of the hydraulic product range
The company gradually expanded its hydraulics portfolio including a range of hydraulic components, hoses, and fittings while strengthening its technical expertise and service capabilities.
2013 –Relocation of production
Due to growth and the need for more modern facilities, the company relocated its production to Kidričeva cesta 58 in Škofja Loka, where a modern work environment conducive to development and innovation was created.
2018 –Expansion of hydraulic activities and industrial partnerships
The opening of a new store and the strengthening of industry partnerships enable growth among OEM customers, service expansion, and the consolidation of the company’s position as a trusted industry partner.
Today –Stability and recognition
Today, the company employs over 40 experts, continuously expands its industry presence, and builds long-term partnerships. INES d.o.o. is recognized for quality, innovation, and reliability, thereby solidifying its role as a leading provider of comprehensive industrial solutions.
