Lapping is a process that involves the finest mechanical treatment to achieve the treated surface’s best shine and highest quality.

The result of lapping is a top quality surface for the treated object and very low roughness, while the surface crystal composition remains intact. The treatment does not cause any thermal or mechanical changes to the structure.

Lapping can be applied to the external levelled surfaces of ally material types (metal, non-metal), whereas the treatment of softer materials is more challenging.
